Newton High Schooler Heads to Europe for Basketball Series
Oskar Coulter is one of the Greater Boston All-Stars leaving Friday to travel to Berlin and Dublin for a 10-day stretch.

NEWTON, MA â Newton South's Oskar Coulter heads to Europe Friday with the Greater Boston All-Stars to play a 10-day basketball series against teams in Berlin and Dublin.
Coulter joins a 10-player squad of high schoolers from the greater Boston area, selected based on recommendations from their high school and other basketball coaches, the Boston Herald's Dan Ventura reported.
According to Ventura, the players will be hosted from by Alba Berlin in Germany and the Irish team UCD Marian from August 12-22; in addition to playing games, they will have the opportunity to venture out into each city and take in its culture and sights.
