Newton JCC Evacuated After Bomb Threat
According to the Anti-Defamation League, similar threats were called into other Jewish centers in the New England area.

NEWTON, MA – The Newton Jewish Community Center was evacuated Wednesday morning after receiving a call of a bomb threat.
According to a statement by the Anti-Defamation League of New England, similar threats were reported at the JCC in Worcester and the Jewish Community Alliance of Southern Maine.
"Although it appears that these threats were thankfully deemed to be not credible, this recent rash of bomb threats has been deeply unsettling to the Jewish community, causing fear and anxiety," ADL New England Regional Director, Robert Trestan, said in a statement. "We have been in touch with the targeted JCCs and law enforcement in the New England region to provide them with full resources and support. These incidents serve as a reminder that preparedness is key to a good response. We commend local law enforcement agencies for investigating and for the ongoing work to ensure the safety of our communities."
