Newton Man's Missing Car Found in Boston, Vandals Egg a Woman's Home: Newton Crime

Saturday, September 10

• A car originally reported missing from Commonwealth Avenue on August 21 was found by Boston police.

• A caller said he arrived for work at Star Market on Austin Street around 3:30 p.m. and left his green Trek bicycle outside on the bike rack unsecured. Upon leaving work around 6:30 p.m. the bicycle was missing. The bike has a white seat.

• A past breaking and entering of a motor vehicle was reported on Alison Street.

Sunday, September 12

• A caller on Sheridan Street told police that sometime overnight someone threw several eggs at her property. Her car was clearly egged and there were several other eggs, some broken and some intact, lying in the driveway. The complainant said the alleged vandals also threw some eggs at her house, hitting the front porch.
