Newton North Football to Take Part in 'Be Bold, Be Bald' Campaign
Participants in Friday's nationwide event will don bald caps or shave their heads to raise money for cancer awareness.

NEWTON, MA – The Newton North football team will face off against Framingham Friday, but ahead of the matchup, the Tigers are fighting for another cause.
The team will take part in the "Be Bold, Be Bald" campaign, a nationwide initiative that takes place on the third Friday of October every year. Players have been selling bald caps throughout the season to be worn Friday; caps may also be purchased during the day.
Proceeds from the event will be donated to Newton-based organization Facing Cancer Together.
