Nope, Newton North didn't suddenly sprout lights on their fields. The school was renovated in 2010 but the athletic fields were built without lights so Honda Village of Newton pays to bring in lights once a year for a special evening home game. A third party light rental company delivers the lights and Honda Village General Manager Carl Pasquarosa and a crew of community members, school officials set them up on the field, according to a Honda Village spokesperson.
City Council President and Mayoral Candidate Scott Lennon was the guest of honor and joined Pasquarosa on the field to perform the coin toss before the game.

This event happens once a year and is unique to Newton North, mainly because they had a need for it and also because Pasquarosa is from Newton and went to school there, according to Honda.
