Newton Pit Bull Attacks 2 on Donna Road; Owner Charged

The victims suffered "serious" bite wounds.

Two people suffered ”serious” bite wounds after a pit bull attacked them on Donna Road earlier this month, police said.

The dog’s owner was charged after the incident, which happened Ot. 10 at about 4 p.m.

The dog apparently escaped through a fence and attacked the two individuals. A passerby got the dog away by spraying it with a hose. Police said the victims suffered serious wounds to their right arms.

The dog was ordered quarantined for 10 days. The owner was charged with having an off-leash dog and not properly registering the animal with the city.
