Newton Police: Counterfeiting Suspect Wanted
Law enforcement is looking for a woman they say used fake $20 bills at a local CVS.

NEWTON, MA - Newton police are looking for a woman suspected of using counterfeit money at a CVS.
The incident occurred March 11 at the 1199 Centre St. pharmacy. The suspect is accused of using two fake $20 bills to pay for her items. Employees at the CVS realized the money was fake when they counted out the register that evening.
The woman is described as being in her mid-20's and of medium height, with a small build and dark complexion.

In Massachusetts, counterfeiting is a felony that carries a penalty of up to 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000.
