Interested In Joining the Ranks of Newton's Finest?

NEWTON, MA – The Newton Police Department is seeking new officers to join its ranks this year.

On Monday, Feb. 1 at 7 p.m., the department will host an open house regarding the Police Officer Exam on March 25; the deadline to apply for the exam is Feb. 21.

The Feb. 1 event, which will be held in the Newton PD Community Room at 1321 Washington St., will cover the civil service process, test preparation and general information. Inquiries about the open house should be made to Officer Richard Bradley at 617 796-2168 or rbradley@newtonma.gov.
