These include adult and pediatric trauma, complex medical emergencies, cardiac and stroke events, high-risk obstetric and neonatal care, and specialized interfacility transfers. Every clinician completes an intensive onboarding and education program that includes hospital ICU and emergency department rotations, pediatric and neonatal critical care experience, high-fidelity simulation training, advanced procedural labs, and comprehensive classroom instruction in transport medicine. Our work is supported by a state-of-the-art fleet of Airbus H145 helicopters and Freightliner mobile ICU ground vehicles, each equipped with advanced technology comparable to leading hospital ICUs.

The drill will begin at 7:30 a.m. at the hospital's Outpatient Rehabilitation Services at 159 Wells Ave. and run until about 1 p.m.Police advise that though it is a drill, it will sound very realistic. Sirens, fire alarms and gunshots will be heard, but officers will use blanks during the training. Additionally, there will be increased police activity and traffic in the area, due to the number of officers participating in the exercise.Residents are advised to not be alarmed, as it is only a drill.
