Newton Police Hunting for Knife-Wielding Suspects Who Tied Up Store Owner, Stole Jewelry

Newton police said they are looking for a man and a woman who tied up a consignment store clerk Saturday and stole cash and jewelry.

WCVB-TV reported the pair robbed the Second Appearance store on Washington Avenue Saturday at about 5 p.m. They wielded a knife, police said. The clerk was eventually able to free herself and call police, WCVB reported.
