Newton Police Investigating Possible Sexual Assault at Lasell College

The following is from Newton police:

Lasell College’s Office of Public Safety, received a report of an alleged sexual assault, which may have occurred on their campus late in the evening of Saturday October 18, 2014. This alleged assault, was reported to have taken place in the area of the Bancroft House or the Van Winkle Quad, which are located at Woodland Road and Studio Road.

Lasell College’s Office of Public Safety is investigating and all press inquiries should be referred to Michelle Gaseau at 617 429-2624.

The Newton Police Department is asking those who live and work in that area, to be vigilant and aware of your surroundings. Anyone seeing or hearing anything suspicious is urged to call us immediately at 617 796-2100 or in cases of an emergency dial 911.
