Newton Police Log: 3 Girls Charged with Assault; Commercial Trucking Violations; More Vehicle Break-Ins

Tue., Nov. 4

  • Cash was stolen from a vehicle on Fellsmere Street.
  • Caleb Bickford, 30, of Marstons Mills, was charged with breaking into a vehicle after a witness said he saw Bickford break into a vehicle on Lenglen Road.

Thur., Nov. 6

  • Loose change was stolen from a vehicle on Nightingale Path.
  • Sunglasses were stolen from two vehicles on Janet Road.
  • Loose change was stolen from a vehicle on Jewett Street.
  • Wily Godinez, 33, of Watertown, and Edras Medina, 29, of Waltham, were charged with several commercial trucking violations during an enforcement operation.
  • Three girls from Newton—ranging in age from 15 to 17—were charged with assault and battery following a report of a fight in Walnut Street.
  • Yulian Kirilov, 32, of Waltham, was charged with disorderly conduct after police received a report of someone trying to enter a vehicle on California Street.
