Newton Police Log: Elderly Woman Charged with Assaulting Parking Officer; OUI Crash; Teen Charged with Vandalism
The following are excerpts from the Newton police log. An arrest or charge does not indicate a conviction.

Fri., Nov. 14
- A man said someone stole his wallet out of his work truck on Central Avenue.
Thur., Nov. 13
- A man said someone smashed his car window and stole several items while it was parked at the Woodland Country Club.
- Another man said someone smashed his car window at the Woodland Country Club. Nothing was stolen.
- An 80-year-old Newton woman was charged with assault and battery after she allegedly struck a vehicle on Beacon Street while she was backing out of a parking space then pushed a parking control officer who confronted her about it.
- A 50-year-old Townsend man was charged with stealing from a business on Adams Street.
- A 2013 Toyota Highlander was stolen from Manor House Road. CDs and loose change were also stolen from a nearby vehicle.

- John Kazimer, 23, of Dedham, was charged with OUI, drug possession, and a lane violation after he allegedly crashed his vehicle into a tree on Tremont Street.
Mon., Nov. 10
- A 19-year-old from Newton was charged with vandalizing a vehicle.
