Dec. 12

  • A home was broken into on Langley Road. Among the items stolen were an Apple MacBook Air, a Lenovo laptop, an iPad, and a Panasonic digital camera.

  • A man said he was the victim of a scam involving Justin Timberlake tickets for a show at Mohegan Sun Dec. 13. He said he responded to a Craigslist ad for two tickets for $300. He was instructed to purchase a “Vanilla Reload Netword” card at CVS, where he put $300 on it. He then called the seller and gave him the codes. The seller hung up and never delivered the tickets.

Dec. 14

  • A caller reported a black Audi in the area of Somerset Road was being operated without headlights and loud music was blasting from it. A responding police officer found the vehicle with five people inside parked on the side of the road. There was a smell of burnt marijuana. When the officer approached the vehicle, all five tried to run. Police caught up to the driver, an 18-year-old male from Brookline who was charged with OUI (liquor), being a minor in possession of alcohol, and disturbing the peace.
  • A woman said someone spray-painted her vehicle orange on Jenison Street.
  • A bicycle was stolen from Watertown Street.
  • An iPhone was reported missing at the Crowne Plaza Hotel.
