• A police officer on patrol found a red Honda Civic with a smashed window on Pleasant Street.
• A woman said two UPS packages left at her front door on Clearwater Street
• A woman said someone smashed her car window on Cherry Street.
• A woman on Commonwealth Avenue said someone shot a BB gun at her front porch window.

• A man on Cherry Street said someone smashed his car window.
• Thomas Dargon, 32, of Newton, was charged with assault and breaking and entering following an incident on Cross Street.
• A 51-year-old Newton man was charged with assaulting ambulance personnel. Police said the responders were helping him after he was found passed out in a driveway.
