Newton Police: Woman Allegedly Lifts Jewelry from Bloomingdales;

Incidents, July 14
- Police were on patrol in the area of Commonwealth Ave. at Washington Street, and ran a routine inquiry of a car that was directly in front. The Mass. RMV indicated that the registered owner had a suspended, non-renewable license. The driver had a default warrant out of Brighton District Court. Susan L. Woodman, 71, 252 Brown St., No. 2, Waltham, was arrested and charged on the default warrant and for operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license.
Incidents, July 15
- Police responded to Harvard Circle for a report of trespassing. Devin M. Perry, 23, 184 Harvard Circle, Newton, was arrested and charged with trespassing
- Police responded to reports of a shoplifter at Bloomingdales. An employee said that he saw a female pick up several items of jewelry and conceal them into a shopping bag before attempting to exit the store without purchasing the merchandise. Ruzanna Zakaryan, 45, 81 Nichols Ave., Watertown, was arrested and charged with larceny over $250
