Newton Power Outages: 400+ In the Dark Monday

NEWTON, MA – More than 400 Eversource customers were without power at the height of mass outages in Newton Monday, according to the company.

Eversource Energy's outage map reported more than 400 lost power in the city. The company serves about 40,690 customers in Newton. As of 5 p.m. Monday evening, 354 customers were still without power.

According to MEMA, more than 8,000 customers statewide lost power Monday.
