Newton Ranked 12th Worst College Experience

Wallethub released its 2015 best and worst college cities and towns report.

Newton, MA -- It’s college application deadline time soon, inspiring Wallethub, the personal finance website, to take a deep look at 2015’s Best and Worst College Cities and Towns in America.

According to Wallethub’s survey, Newton came out twelfth worst in the rankings, at number 215, just before Albany, GA. Ann Arbor Michigan was number one, and Paterson, NJ, was ranked last.

To identify the college cities and towns offering the best combination of academic, social and economic growth potential for college students, WalletHub ranked 326 U.S. cities based on 23 key metrics, ranging from the quality of higher education to crime rates to cost of living.
