Newton Resident Attends 'Game Day Gala'

On April 2, Team IMPACT hosted its annual “Game Day Gala” at the Boston Marriott Copley Place. At this upscale tailgating-themed charitable fête, Team IMPACT celebrated its mission to pair children who are facing chronic or life-threatening illnesses with college athletic teams. The evening’s roster of over 800 people included event co-chairs – and Team IMPACT Founding Members – Dan Kraft (President, The Kraft Group-International) and Jay Calnan (Chief Executive Officer, J. Calnan & Associates); emcee and ESPN reporter Wendi Nix; Patriots organization’s Bob Kraft, Rob Ninkovich, Matthew Slater, Joe Andruzzi and Andre Tippett; car czar Herb Chambers; and special guest speaker, Governor Charlie Baker.
