Newton Restaurant Makes List of 'Guilty Pleasures'
A popular Boston restaurant blog recently named its top 12 guilty pleasure dishes.

It’s juicy. It’s got a grilled bun, bacon, and cheesing oozing off of it. And it comes with fries.
The Boston Restaurant Blog from the Boston’s Hidden Restaurants site, recently named its “12 guilty pleasures,” pointing to dishes at Boston-area restaurant that while they will not shrink your tummy, they’ll rev up the tastebuds.

On the list is the Bishop Burger, on the menu of the Social Restaurant and Bar in Newton.
“Our Bishop Burger is a decadent half pound of hand formed Brandt beef, served with choice of melted cheese (our favorite is crumbled bleu), lettuce, tomato, crispy fried onions, creamy bacon aioli & apple wood smoked bacon,” said owner Bill Costa. “It’s nestled on a buttery toasted brioche bun accompanied by hand cut, parmesan dusted frites.
