Newton St. Patrick's Day Political Roast [Photos]

Check out how the second annual Saint Paddy's Day political roast went.

NEWTON, MA — There was a fiddle, some Irish Step, some rhymes set to music plenty of Irish jokes and jabs and surprise visit from "Ivanka" and "Jared." The second-annual St. Patrick's Day roast at Dunn-Gaherin's pub on Elliot Street, judging from the laughter, the applause and the crowd was a success.

It was Dunn-Gaherin's owner Seana Gaherin's idea last year to throw this together for Newton.
"You know, I've been here for so long I just wanted to do something that brought the community together," she told Patch.
