Newton's Baramor Restaurant To Host Charitable 'Barktoberfest'
The dog-friendly Halloween event will take place on Thursday, Oct. 21 from 5:30 to 8 p.m.
NEWRON, MA â Baramor Restaurant in Newton Centre is partnering with nonprofits Jr's Paws For a Cause and Kyle's Legacy to host "Barktoberfest," a dog-friendly Halloween event for charity.
The "Howl-O-Ween" Costume Party will take place on Thursday, October 21 from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. inside Baramor, located at 45 Union St., and feature a dog costume contest, dog fair with local vendors, raffles, and tastings from Carlson Orchards hard cider and Bully Boy Distillers.
"Halloween is a time for kids and adults to dress up, chow down on candy, and enjoy festive, spooky activities," said Baramor in a news release. "But why take dogs out of the equation?"

Tickets are $5 for children age 12 and under and $15 for adults, with all proceeds going to Jr's Paws for a Cause. Baramor will also donate an additional $5 for every drink ordered off the special Barktoberfest drink menu.
The event is being sponsored by Veterinary Emergency Group, Carlson Orchards, Bully Boy Distillers, PetWants Newton, 200 Faces, Polkadog Bakery, and Lil Monster Photography.
