What Are Newton's Overnight Parking Rules?

The ban will span November to April.

NEWTON, MA – It's about that time of year again, folks. The all-night parking ban is in effect in Newton.

The ban runs until April 15, and during that time it will be illegal for any vehicle, other than an emergency vehicle, to be parked on any street, way, highway, road, parkway or private way that is dedicated or open to the use of the public for more than an hour between 2 and 6 a.m.

Parking for more than an hour overnight on a public way will result in a $25 fine, which was raised last year from $5.
