NewTV Awarded Four More Emmy Awards

NewTV receives four Boston/New England Emmy® Awards for two original programs

NewTV’s team members won four additional Emmy® Awards on Saturday, June 2 at the Marriott Boston Copley Place for their work on Assassin Nation: “Baltimore Plot” and American Ruins: “Bannerman’s Castle.” This bring the total Emmy® wins for NewTV to thirteen, with nine previous awards received for The Folklorist.

There was a tie in the Performer/Narrator category, and both winners were from the NewTV production Assassin Nation: “Baltimore Plot,” and Assassin Nation earned the Historical/Cultural Program/Segment award. Andrew Eldridge and Angela Harrer received the Photographer Short Form award for American Ruins: “Bannerman’s Castle”.

NewTV is proud of the success of its original programs, which would not be possible without the hard work and dedication of the staff, interns, cast and crew.
