Over 12 Accidents in Newton During Morning Commute: FD
The Newton Fire Department warned residents about icy roadways citywide.

NEWTON, MA – More than 12 accidents have occurred during Wednesday's morning commute in Newton, the fire department said.
According to a Newton Fire Department tweet, the accidents all happened within an hour. Fire officials warned of icy roadways citywide.

Earlier Wednesday morning, crews cleared a seven-car crash on Route 128. One minor injury was reported.
