Peet's Coffee In Newton Centre To Close
This comes after the Peet's on Route 9 closed recently and the North End Peet's is closing this week, too.

NEWTON, MA — At the corner of Beacon Street and Langley Road in Newton Centre there's a Peet's Coffee that always seems hopping and the tables and chairs full is closing along with the Peet's at the entrance to the North End in Boston. Both locations are set to close this week.
Why? Employees at both locations tell Patch that it's because the chain coffee shops just weren't pulling in enough money.
Official representatives from Peet's did not return request for comment but employees at the Newton Centre location say they were originally told that the coffee shop's lease was up, but then it came out that it was more they weren't turning a profit. The Newton Centre Peet's will close its doors for the final time Friday, July 13.

The main website still lists the Newton and the North End locations. In fact, it also lists the Brookline location on Route 9 as open. But the Chestnut Hill store on Route 9 (Tom Brady is rumored to have visited this one) closed up shop earlier.
