The Newton North boys hockey team falls to 5-12-1 on the season.

Despite a few chances to capitalize on penalites, the boys hockey team fell to Framingham 7-1 on Saturday. 

"It was a good team effort; we got a lot of different guys to score goals," said Framingham Head Coach Paul Spear. "We have to take less penalties thats for sure; we have to get a little more disciplined then we were tonight."

With the loss, Newton North falls to 5-12-1 (3-11-1 in the Bay State League). Framingham improves to 7-8-2 (6-7-1 league).

The Tigers will face Needham High School for their next match-up in a home game on Wednesday at 7 p.m. 

Newton North Head Coach Tom Ryan did not return calls to Patch.com for comment.
