Police in Brookline Believe Store Break-In Linked to Newton Incident
A break-in at the T-Mobile store on Beacon Street may be tied to similar breaks at Verizon stores in Newton and Dedham, police say.
NEWTON, MA – Police in Brookline believe a recent break-in at a T-Mobile store on Beacon Street may have ties to similar incidents in Newton and Dedham.
According to police, the incident happened around 3:15 a.m. Sunday, at the 1310 Beacon Street T-Mobile store.
Police say the suspects broke the bottom half of the front door glass, climbed in and stole multiple items from the store. The alarm went off when the door was broken, but police say it took more than 11 minutes for that to get reported to them.

Surveillance video is available from the store and detectives are actively investigating, Brookline Police said.
They believe the break-in may be tied to a recent string of similar breaks at Verizon stores in Dedham and Newton, all within the last 30 days.
