Thanksgiving dinner doesn't end with the turkey.
NEWTON, MA — On Thanksgiving, the dishes run the gamut from turkey, to stuffing, to that weird green bean thing that looks gross when you're young but actually ends up being delicious. Oh, and pie. Lots and lots of pie.
According to the American Pie Council (yes, that's a thing) approximately $700 million pies are sold in grocery stores every year. Nearly one out of five Americans prefer apple pie, followed by pumpkin, pecan, banana cream and cherry.
