Power Issue Causing Green Line Delays
If you are heading to the Red Sox home opener, be aware the D branch of the Green Line is experiencing delays.

BOSTON, MA - A power issue was causing "minor delays" on the D branch of the Green Line. Now the MBTA is replacing service with shuttle buses just in time for the Red Sox home opener.
The MBTA said the issue is related to Eversource. Over 7,000 in Newton were without power Monday afternoon. Newton Police said at approximately 1:13 p.m. "most power" had been restored.
The D branch goes from Riverside up to Fenway before joining up at Kenmore.

The MBTA has shuttle buses replacing Green Line service from Riverside to Newton Highlands.
The Green Line is expected to be busy today with the Sox opener slated for a 2 p.m. start. Fans are urged to get to the game around 1:15 for pre-game ceremonies.
