Preschool Center for Youth Development at the West Suburban YMCA
Registration is now open to interested families

Before embarking on their primary school journey, preschool provides young students with the opportunity to build strong foundations for learning. The Preschool Center for Youth Development at the West Suburban YMCA is dedicated to making a positive impact in the lives of every child and family that chooses the Y. In our Preschool Center, our philosophy goes hand in hand with our curriculum, creating a joyous learning environment that caters to the individual needs of each student.
Within our Preschool Center, our classroom is buzzing with individual, small and large group activities, including literacy, vocabulary, reading, and introductory math concepts of numbers, shapes, and measurements. Additionally, we offer instruction involving science, social studies, art, and sensory exploration. We align our activities with the Common Core Standards and Massachusetts State Guidelines for Early Learning.
Notable features of our program include:
- A large, bright, and open classroom with secure entrances
- Outdoor playground and turf field for recreational activities
- Supervised free swim lessons in our small pool
- Continuous professional development for our educators
If you believe the Y is the right choice for your child, we are pleased to tell you that our registration process is open to interested families.
