Rash of Office Break Ins in Newton?

Multiple offices on Rumsford Avenue appeared to broken into yesterday, according to police. Someone called Newton Police to report a break in to an office on Rumford Avenue. An employee said they came into their office around 7: 15 p.m. and saw the door had some damage but they weren't sure if anything was missing.

Police came and discovered that this office was not the only one broken into. A number of other offices on the first floor of 130 Rumford Avenue appeared to have their main doors forced open, according to the police report.

Newton Police said they were not sure if anything was taken from any of the offices. And they did not say whether video surveillance was available for the incident. An investigation is ongoing. according to police.
