Reports of Car Breaks in Newton Earlier This Week: Police
According to Newton police records, the beginning of the week saw several break-ins of unlocked cars.

NEWTON, MA – A number of car break-ins were reported in Newton earlier this week, according to Newton police records.
The incidents were reported Tuesday, and residents reported the breaks had all happened overnight.

Langley Road
• A caller on Elgin Road found several miscellaneous cards in the front yard of the residence. Police tracked them to a Langley Road home, where a resident said money and the found cards had been taken overnight from the unlocked car in the driveway.

Glen Avenue
• A caller said his car had been broken into overnight and a small amount of loose change was taken from the console. The car was parked in the driveway and was unlocked.
• A caller said his unlocked car had been broken into overnight. There was nothing stolen from his vehicle.
Bartlett Terrace
• A caller said sometime overnight her unlocked car had been broken into, but nothing was taken.
Herrick Road
• An unlocked vehicle was broken into, but nothing was taken.
• A caller said his unlocked car was parked behind Herrick Road. Sometime overnight, loose change was taken from his vehicle.
