Reunited, And it Feels so Good: Brighton Has Been Found

Thanks to a reader who saw the post on Patch, Brighton is reunited with her family.

Brighton had been missing since March 24. She slipped out of the car after her caretaker brought her for a walk.

After shares on Missing Dogs Massachusetts, and a share on Newton and Dedham Patch, we are happy to report that Brighton has been reunited with her family.

Here is her story, shared on Missing Dogs Massachusetts.

“A call came in at 4:30 this afternoon from a gentleman in Dedham who had just seen Brighton’s info on Dedham Patch. He said he’d seen Brighton at 10:30 last night running across Ames Street into a yard on Fisher Street in Dedham. We all converged on the area and everything happened at once-found tracks, two other people in the neighborhood had seen her within the hour, Brighton’s owners walked down to the end of the street where she had been seen minutes before (Bingham St), and there she was. When Brighton and her family saw each other, Brighton came running right to them. They took her to the MSPCA to be safe, and sweet girl has some very swollen and cut up paws from her travels, but she is in perfect health otherwise. Thank you doesn’t even begin to cut it, but so many thanks yous are forthcoming once the shaking stops!”
