'Shacktoberfest' Coming to Chestnut Hill

CHESTNUT HILL, MA – Shake Shack is unveiling its annual Oktoberfest-themed menu this Friday with a lineup of seasonal specials inspired by the German festival.

The menu launches Friday, and runs through Oct. 2, according to a spokesperson for the company.

It includes new-to-menu "Shacktoberfest" items such as an Apfelstrudel Shake and Bavarian-Style Soft Pretzel.

The full Shacktoberfest menu is as follows:

• Shake Shack Bier Stein: a 25-ounce, custom-made stein with a choice of Brooklyn Brewery’s malty Oktoberfest beer or Shake Shack’s very own ShackMeister Ale®. Guests can keep the stein; discounted refills are available for the duration of Shacktoberfest
• Brat Burger (a recurring seasonal favorite): 100% all-natural Angus beef burger topped with a flat-top griddled bacon cheddar-stuffed bratwurst, crispy ShackMeister Ale-marinated shallots and ShackSauce
• ShackMeister Brat: Flat-top griddled cheddar-stuffed bratwurst, crispy ShackMeister Ale-marinated shallots and cheese sauce
• Bavarian-Style Soft Pretzel: Toasted soft pretzel topped with Bavarian spices and option Shack cheese sauce
• Apfelstrudel Shake: Apple strudel shake topped with whipped cream and cinnamon-sugar shortbread
• Black Forest Shake: Chocolate and cherry shake with whipped cream and chocolate sprinkles
