Break in: Someone called to report that a car was broken into while it was parked near Highland Street behind Santander Bank. The owner stated that her car was broken into sometime between 7:30 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Wheels be gone: A Crafts Street resident called to report that someone stole the tires of his car, which he'd parked in his driveway. He told police that around 1 a.m. he heard a clanging noise, looked out the window and did not see anything and went back to bed. But when he got up this morning he saw that all four tires on his vehicle were missing and the car was propped up on milk crates.

Multi purpose crates: A Clinton Street resident called to report she, too, was missing tires from a car she parked in her driveway. She said she got home at around 2: 30 a.m. and didn't notice anything out of sorts, but around 9 a.m. she went outside and saw that her two left tires were missing and the car was propped up on two milk crates.

Vandalized: A Pelham Street resident called to report her home had been vandalized earlier in the morning. Police said they handed out a summons for 2 counts of malicious destruction of property over $250 to a 50 year old man from Chelsea.

Not toys: A Wells Avenue resident called to report someone broke into a construction site. They said when they arrived this morning they found a broken 4x4 double glass panel window and a strong smell of ammonia coming from the 3rd floor, which turned out to be from fire extinguishers that someone had discharged throughout the 3rd floor, mainly on the windows.

Smashed: Someone called to report a rear windshield appeared to be smashed in with two holes in it on Cloverdale Road. Someone told police the damage must have occurred around 3 a.m.

Road rage fisticuffs: Someone called to report a car and a cyclist were involved in a crash on Needham Street. But when police arrived it was actually more of a road rage incident that turned into a fight-- in the parking lot of the EZ-Storage. Police said they were seeking to charge a 57-year-old man from Foxborough with Assault and Battery.

Spitting incident: Someone at a restaurant on Walnut Street called to report a larceny and assault. Someone rented the restaurant to use for a function supporting their cause and the remainder of the restaurant was closed to the public. During the function, a woman came into the restaurant, stole two signs and then, when they stopped her, spit on his shoulder. They described the woman as wearing a floral dress, black shoes, and glasses. Police said they saw someone matching the description while canvassing the area. When stopped, police said she was irate and stated that the signs were taken because of disagreeing beliefs. She also told police she threw the signs in a dumpster somewhere. Police said they were charging the 31 Newton Resident with Assault and Battery for spitting on the person who called and Larceny under $250 for stealing the signs.

Vandal: Someone called police to let them know that sometime during the night the building staff at Auburndale Cove noticed that playground equipment and a building had been vandalized. There were spray paint marks o several slides as well as the climbing structure, which also had some vulgarity.

Cell phone scam?: Someone on Kendall Road called to report a suspicious person. The caller told police a man in a silver BMW came to his house with a laptop in hand stating that his phone was pinging inside the caller's home. The caller then said the man became aggressive and acted as if he were trying to enter the home. The caller said he then closed the door and saw the man walking around his property and into the neighbors' yard before leaving. The caller described the man as white, in his mid 40s with brown hair, approximately 6 feet tall, wearing dark shorts and a white T-shirt.
