Surrounded by fencing plastered with warning signs, the old Newton North High School building has become a huge demolition site as workers remove rubble and tears down walls.
The old school, located on Lowell Avenue overlooks the neighboring state-of-the-art new Newton North, opened last fall.
, parts of the exterior walls to the old gym started to come down last week, floor-by-floor. The old school's auditorium and cafeteria have already been demolished.
