When Newton North is hitting on all cylinders like it was yesterday against Norwood it makes pitcher Liv Sloane’s job a little easier. And that’s the last thing any opponent wants to do against the Tigers’ talented ace.
No. 4 Newton North (11-0) banged out ten hits and drew an additional six walks while Sloane struck out ten and allowed two earned runs as the Tigers jumped out to a 6-1 lead before hanging on to defeat No. 9 Norwood, 8-4, in Bay State Conference game.
