Suspected Cruiser Thief Caught Acting Erraticly on Mass. Pike
The man was allegedly ripping pages out of the Bible in Newton.

A man suspected to have stolen a State Police cruiser Monday morning was found acting erratically on the side of the Mass. Pike, according to multiple reports.
The man was arrested at approximately 7 a.m. Tuesday after police received reports of a man walking on the Pike westbound, ripping pages from the Bible and throwing them into traffic, police told multiple outlets.
Police arrested the man on Craft Street in Newton after he ran down the train tracks. They determined he had recently been hospitalized; he was reportedly transported to Saint Elizabeth's Hospital to be evaluated.

The cruiser was taken from a South Boston maintenance facility Monday morning and found early in the afternoon at Twin City Plaza in Somerville.
He has not yet been charged.
