Take Back Your Pills: Newton Offers a Safe and Effective Way to Dispose of Prescription Pills

No questions asked. Get rid of those pills.

On Saturday, Jan. 9, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. the Newton and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) gives the public its tenth opportunity in five years to prevent pill abuse and theft by ridding their homes of potentially dangerous expired, unused, and unwanted prescription drugs, announced Newton police.

Bring in your pills for disposal behind the Newton Police Station, 1321 Washington St., West Newton. (The DEA cannot accept liquids or needles or sharps, only pills or patches.)

This service is free and anonymous; no questions will be asked.
