
NEWTON, MA – A tree fell onto a Newton home amid powerful overnight wind gusts, according to reports. The collapse occurred around 11 p.m. on Brentwood Avenue.
The homeowner and children were uninjured, WCVB's Katie Thompson reported.
MEMA reported nearly 30 outages in Newton Wednesday morning. At their peak, outages numbered about 2,500 across the state, according to Boston 25.
