'UNO fresco' Opens in Newton

An UNO concept restaurant opened in Newton this week.

Uno fresco is located at The Shops at 300 Needham.

The “fast-casual” restaurant features deep-dish pizza and thin-crust offerings like one with prosciutto, fig, and arugula. There are also salads, soups, sandwiches, beer, wine, and gluten-free options.

It’s the third UNO fresco—one opened in Stoneham earlier this year and there’s another one in Deer Park, N.Y. Yelp reviewers rated the Stoneham location 3.5 stars out of 5.

The Newton store will be open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
