What's Open, What's Closed on Labor Day in Newton
Town offices, schools and banks will be closed for the holiday.

The official end to summer is upon us with Labor Day fast approaching.
Hereâs whatâs open and whatâs closed on Labor Day, and donât forget - with the Monday holiday, trash and recycling will be delayed a day.
Town Hall and all town offices are closed Monday. This includes the Senior Center and the Public Library. All schools, both public and private, are closed today, as well.

All federal and state offices are also closed today. This includes the Post Office, as well as the State Department of Emergency Management and other state public health offices.

- Retail - Retail stores in town are open regular hours at the ownerâs discretion.
- Bars, Restaurants - All are open regular hours at the ownerâs discretion.
