Woman Hit By Car In Newton Taken To Hospital

This weekend a woman was sent to the hospital after she was struck by a car on Lowell Avenue on April 21, said Newton Police. The woman, 31, had only minor injuries. Police said they did not cite the driver of the car who hit her and no charges were pressed.

Since January there have been 15 incidents involving pedestrians in Newton, according to Newton Police Department data. This marks the 16th incident in the past four months.
