WWII Marine, American Legion Founder, Dies at 89
Services are this week for Nicholas Joseph, from Newton.

Nicholas Joseph Of Newton, Jan 1,2015 at the age of 89. Son of the late Pasquale and Angela Maria Bibbo. Beloved husband of the late Irene Grace (Farley). Devoted father of Deborah Toyias and her husband Dr. Peter Toyias of West Newton and Beverly Keith and her husband Kevin of Newton. Brother of Antoinette Mandatori and her late husband Frank of Auburndale, and of the late Joanne Bibbo. Cherished grandfather of Stephanie and Nicholas Toyias of West Newton.
Nicholas served as a Corporal in the 6th Division of the USMC during WWII and was a Founding Member of the American Legion Post 440.

Funeral from the Andrew J. Magni & Son FH, 365 Watertown St, Newton, Wed, Jan.7 at 9:30am, before proceeding to Our Lady Help of Christians Church, 573 Washington St, Newton for a 10:30AM Funeral Mass. Visiting hours Tuesday Jan. 6, from 4-8pm in the funeral home. Burial in Calvary Cemetery, 250 High Street, Waltham.
