1 Student Arrested After 'Shelter-In-Place' At Haverhill High School
Haverhill police said no weapons were found after reports that a "potentially armed" student was making threats.
HAVERHILL, MA — Haverhill police said one student was arrested after a shelter-in-place order was triggered at the high school early Thursday afternoon.
Police said the shelter-in-place was ordered after they received reports of a "potentially armed student" making threats a the school.
Police said the student was located and arrested on an undisclosed charge, but that as of about 2 p.m. on Thursday no weapons had been found.
