The 2016 North Andover High School Marching Band Camp is in the Books!

Over 135 marching band and color guard members gathered at NAHS for an intensive week of band camp to prepare for their new show.

The NAHS music department held its annual marching band camp during the week of August 15th. The largest in recent history, more than 135 band and color guard members participated.

Entitled “Primary Colors”, this year’s ambitious show features complex music and theatrical elements not previously attempted by the NAHS marching band.

Following the intensive week-long camp, performers and staff were treated to a barbeque organized and hosted by the North Andover Music Association, and camp concluded with a preview show enjoyed by hundreds of spectators.

With less than one month before the season’s first competition, the band and staff will continue to rehearse and build on the foundation established during camp. The NAHS will host a NESBA (New England Scholastic Band Association) competition on October 1st at 4:00pm, with 17 high school bands currently committed to participating.
