3rd Annual NAMA Knight of Honor Gala

The North Andover Merchants Association will be kicking off its 3rd Annual Knight of Honor Gala on Saturday, April 5th.  Each year NAMA holds this event at the North Andover Country Club to honor the many businesses that make up the North Andover community, while at the same time raising money to support the NAMA Scholarship Fund.

“Our members work so hard year-round to support the community, all while building their own businesses,” said NAMA President Sylvie Foulds.  “This is an evening for our members to kick back and enjoy themselves.”

The event features a full dinner, during which NAMA will be recognizing businesses celebrating milestones in 2014.  NAMA will also be recognizing Dawn’s Sign Tech as the 2014 Merchant of the Year, while also surprising a member as the NAMA 2014 Volunteer of the Year.

Cocktails will be served beginning at 6:00 p.m., where guests will be treated to free psychic readings, caricature drawings, and a silent auction.  Dinner will be served at 7:30 p.m.

This annual event serves as a fundraiser for the NAMA scholarship program.  Each year NAMA presents a North Andover senior boy and girl with a $1,000 scholarship.  NAMA also recognizes an entrepreneur under the age of 22 with a $500.00 award.

“We use this opportunity to support a young man and young woman pursuing business-related degrees,” said Foulds.
