6-Alarm Lawrence Fire Burns Several Buildings Early Thursday

TRAFFIC ALERT: Several streets in the area closed in the area of the fire.

Fire crews are at the scene of a six-alarm fire early Thursday morning that burned several two-deckers and threatened other nearby buildings on East Cambridge Street near Osgood Street in Lawrence, Mass., according to multiple reports.

Approximately a dozen people were evacuated from several of the three-decker buildings.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
