Real Estate Agents Raise Money For Displaced Residents

North Andover—On October 2nd, The Real Estate VIP Club and its community of real estate agents will look to support relief efforts of thousands of Merrimack Valley residents that were forced from their homes during an emergency evacuation. The more than 60 fires ignited by at least three gas explosions, occurred on September 13th in the towns of North Andover, Lawrence and Andover. The situation have left residents slow to recover with weeks still projected to get back to normal.

Real Estate agents are the nucleus of a community and these agents are called to action. “They not only want to be there for the listing or sale of a home but also in these times when so many homeowners are in need.”, says event organizer, Lisa Carter. These events are typically for industry networking but at this time we felt our focus should be on helping our community.

Individuals and real estate businesses looking to support relief efforts can attend the event and make a contribution to non profit agencies like MSPCA, Cormier Youth Center and Debbie’s Treasure Chest. Volunteers from these organizations will be on site giving a first hand account of the need in the community and accepting cash and gift card donations.
